Adraftee and Hello Sunshine Collaboration

Hello everyone! I have some very exciting news to share with you all!

I have been working on a collaboration with Adam Rafferty owner of Adraftee. We have been working on designing a Raglan tee together, coming up with the idea of a space theme and sticking with the monochrome colours this tee is so versatile and goes with almost everything I have in my wardrobe! Since receiving my raglan I just love wearing it with everything, it's especially the most perfect item to wear for university as it's so comfortable!

Below I've styled the Raglan with some high waisted riding pants, tucking the shirt in. I love the contrast in black and white colours and the planet detail on the front. My favourite thing about the raglan is the printing quality, it is incredibly unique as it makes the designs look almost alive!

Estee Lauder pure color eyeshadow (Ivory slipper, nude fresco, enchanted forest, wild sable)

Estee Lauder Pure Color Eyeshadow

I recently bought a few products from the Estee Lauder counter and I was very generously given this little eyeshadow kit as they had a few left over from the goodie bags they were giving out a few weeks ago so thought I would write a post on the wonderful set.

The four colours included in the kit are (Left to Right):
♥ Ivory Slipper
♥ Nude Fresco
♥ Enchanted Forest
♥ Wild Sable

All of these beautiful colours are available to purchase separately over the counter, just click on the names above to redirect you to the pages. My absolute favourite is Ivory Slipper, it's a lovely neutral shade that I've been wearing every day so far! I like to wear this colour with Enchanted Forest and Wild Sable blended into the outer corners of my eyes. The pigmentation of the eyeshadow is perfect and the texture is extremely smooth, gliding over my eyelid fantastically which is a bonus! I've found wearing the pure color eyeshadows have lasted all day and are the perfect tones for a natural daytime look!

Sorry! But I'm back!!

Hello lovely bloggers!

So first of all I owe you a very big apology! I haven't posted in a very long time, 3 months to be precise! :(

I've had an extremely busy few months, I'm currently in my third year at university and the workload is extremely intense so I've had to make a few sacrifices (like blogging) for a while but I'm ready to start up again! I really have missed blogging so I'm ready to get back on track again with sharing some wonderful posts with you all! I intend to blog at least once a week for you all, so there is something new to read every week, then in a few months when I finish my degree I can really concentrate on blogging again! YAY!

If you have Instagram please follow me on @_jahar as I am always on there so you will see lots of OOTD's and you can have a little peak at what I'm up to!

For now, here is a quick update of what I've been doing in photos taken from my Instagram! I'm SO excited to be blogging again!

Soap and Glory Archery (Love is blonde + Brownie points)

Soap and Glory. // Archery brow tint

I love love love trying out new eyebrow products as I'm always on the look out for anything that will make my brows look that little bit more noticeable. My eyebrows are naturally almost invisible as they are so fair so I love to emphasise them.

I have always been used to using pencils to fill my eyebrows in but throughout the day they just seem to crumble and make my filled in eyebrows looks so un natural which is not the look I want! Boots have a 3 for 2 offer on at the minute across all makeup so I decided to treat my eyebrows to something new. I found myself looking at the Soap and Glory stand as I've had a few of their products before and have not yet been disappointed, and picked up the Archery double ended pen and pencil. On one end the nib is like a felt tip pen and glides beautifully across your eyebrow and the other end is a soft pencil in the same shade. I bought both colours 'Love is Blonde' and 'Brownie Points' as I like to mix and match which colour to do my eyebrows each day depending on how much eye make up I am wearing.

I have took photos of my eyebrows with no product on one side and then the other side I have used Brownie points to fill in the brow. The last 2 photos show both of my brows filled in with brownie points. There really isn't a massive difference between the colours, if you are very fair skinned and you don't like your eyebrows too noticeable go for Love is Blonde. But if you like your eyebrows to stand out then I would definitely recommend Brownie points! The brow tints are priced at £10 each so it is a little more expensive than your drugstore brands however not too high end. I personally don't mind paying this as they really are worth the money as they give me extremely precise, perfect, fuller looking brows!

Hello!! It's been almost a week since I last posted on my blog!! I have been swept into a whirlwind of chaos this week with my university deadlines. But I've finally finished my screen print for the London Serco competition which I have decided to enter through the AOI (Association Of Illustrators)

I had a fantastic halloween, I really do love going out and seeing everyone make an effort to dress up, the costumes are so imaginative! I decided to go as a skeleton this year so bought some suspender skeleton leggings from Love clothing (here) and then I painted my face and chest which surprisingly took me just under an hour. What do you think?

I've been shopping this week so I have lots of things to blog about and share with you. I can't wait to get started again, I have some real treats to show you!

I hope you have all had a fantastic week and an extra spooky halloween! I would love to see some of your outfits and face paint so feel free to comment at the bottom!

Clinique spot treatment gel

Clinique spot treatment gel

As the temperature is dropping and the winter weather is starting to creep up on us, our skin suffers because of this change and we are prone to breakouts. My skin is definitely beginning to suffer, but I am determined to fight off the spots! I have been using Clinique products for the last 4 years and have never been disappointed so I wasn't surprised when their anti-blemish solutions spot treatment worked wonders for me.

The gel is clear and a little sticky, but only a teeny tiny blob is needed for the spot on each application (the size of a grain of rice to be precise) on the horrible breakout. The solution stings a little when applied to the spot, but I like this feeling as it seems like proof that it's working! With one application before bed, in the morning the spot is noticeably smaller, takes away the redness and swelling and is on it's way to being banished from your face for good! I've found that if I apply the treatment morning and night, the spot naturally shrinks and disappears within 3 day which is fantastic. Although this price may be a little steep at £14 for the small 15ml bottle, don't be fooled, the gel lasts sooooo long!! I've had mine for just about a year and I still have three quarters of the solution left and I use it more often than not.

5 Fabulous: Miista Boots

5 Fabulous: Miista Boots

1. / 2. / 3. / 4. / 5. /

I'm always on the look out for new clothes, shoes, bags, makeup.. basically everything and I love sharing my love for all of these things so I've decided to start '5 Fabulous:'. Each week I will post out my top 5 favourite things, it really could be any item, brand, collection.. anything! It's something I have completely made up and can't wait to start! I hope you will like it too. So here we go, the start of something beautiful...

Miista are one of my favourite shoe brands at the minute! I absolutely love the unique styles of each and every one of their shoes. have my eye on all 5 of these gorgeous unique boots from their AW13 collection, I just need to decide which ones I like the most! I thought I would share my top 5 (or 5 fabulous) with you. I already own a pair of Brielle Black Miista boots which I've had for over a year (check out the outfit post here on them) and they are the comfiest pair of boots I have ever had! Every time I go out wearing them I always, always, always receive compliments on them. I really am a proud owner of my Miista shoes.

The ombre lucite heel on 1 and 2 is SO striking, completely unique and screams perfection. The pressed flower design is beautiful and the perfect winter flower print to match with any outfit. Boots 3, 4 and 5 really are the perfect edgy yet slightly grungy boots for this Autumn/ Winter. The chunky soles are what attracted me to these styles straight away, yet each one has a unique design and personality! Zip, buckles, metallic shimmer - they're all so perfect, I love anything with a bit of edge!

Although I'm completly in love with all of these boots. If think I'm head over heels in love with number 2! What do you think?
